Tours, providing a general history of Chattanooga (geography and early settlers, the Cherokee experience, the Civil War, industrialization, and renaissance) and lasting about an hour and a half will be given at 10:00am and 1:00pm on Thursdays through Sundays, June 19 - August 24 . The walk is approximately 1 mile, and it begins on the plaza at the Tennessee Aquarium, continues on the curved walkway behind the Aquarium, then crosses Riverfront Parkway to the Green at Ross' Landing. It then goes by the Passage on Riverfront Parkway, up the serpentine walk to the Bluff View Art District, across the Holmberg Bridge, and down First Street to the Aquarium Plaza. Tickets are $5 for adults, and $3 for ages 6-18. There is no charge for children under 6.
