The first to arrive in downtown Chattanooga’s Riverfront Restaurant District, 212 Market Restaurant serves outstandingly creative and contemporary American cuisine - as well as the freshest seafood. Moderately priced, 212’s menu varies frequently. Masterful presentations are created entirely in-house from farm-fresh and healthy local ingredients. Daily lunch and dinner specials reflect the high-mark in seasonal availability of select items. Saturdays and Sundays feature 212’s popular brunch menu. Dazzling desserts, all made from scratch, run the spectrum from light sorbets to decadent flourless chocolate truffle cake. 212 also features live music on Friday evenings and a "Jazz Brunch" every third Sunday. 212 is perfect for business meetings, private parties and family gatherings. Private dining is available for groups of up to (100) persons. 212 is an AAA three-diamond and Mobil three-star establishment. Wine Spectator has given 212 its "Award of Excellence" for 8 years in a row. "Heart-healthy" options, vegetarian menu choices and special needs are cheerfully accommodated.
In the spring of 2007, 212 was named Tennessee’s first, and still only, "Certified Green" restaurant by the Green Restaurant Association of America.
